So it was time to take it out on the course for several rounds. And to be fair: after a few holes we already realized this is not a “regular” electric trolley .

First impression: sturdy, well-thought-out and ready for the course
Unpacking and setting up is smooth. The Axglo E5 golf trolley feels solid right away, without being clumsy or awkward. The frame looks clean and stable and once folded it fits surprisingly easily in the trunk. This is one of those trolleys you immediately notice was designed with real use in mind.

The follow-me feature: this is where the difference lies
We were especially curious about the follow-me feature. In practice it works like this: you activate the mode, start walking… and the trolley follows you calmly at an appropriate distance. No remote control needed, no pushing, no pulling.
During our rounds we especially noticed how relaxed it feels. You walk freely toward your ball without constantly looking back to check the trolley. On fairways and gentle slopes it stays stable and follows neatly. It really feels like a “shadow caddie” walking with you.

Controls & flexibility
Besides follow-me, you can also use the Axglo E5 with the remote control, or in an assistive drive mode where it moves forward at a constant speed. That’s especially useful in narrow sections or heading toward the green.
The remote takes a bit of getting used to, but after one round it feels intuitive. Nice detail: you can always switch between the different modes depending on the moment in your round.

What positively surprised us is the stability. The wide wheelbase and low center of gravity ensure the trolley stays steady even on uneven terrain. On sloping fairways and descents it remains well balanced and feels reliable.

During our tests we easily got through 18 holes without coming anywhere near an empty battery. That gives confidence, especially if you often play longer rounds.
